Snacking in Estes

Sandra and I are visiting Estes Park this weekend; our first visit of the new season. As with every trip to this part of the Rockies, it's included the occasional critter-sighting, but it's still fascinating when they wander near the pubs and gift shops instead of just noshing grass on distant hillsides.

We'd just walked back from a nice dinner of trout and salad at Big Horn when we saw this fellow chewing leaves right next to our car. Then, some guys rounded the corner:

Anyway, that's why I've been quiet this weekend ... just Estes-ing in the usual Estes way.

For today's note of interactivity (as always, Sunday means Interactive Sunday) I want to draw your attention to Google Hangouts. I use it for two things: gaming, and text-chatting. I mentioned gaming last week, but this week I want to focus on the latter, because if you're reading this, you're welcome to say hi and chat whenever you feel like (just bear in mind, it may take me a little while to respond, as I have a sleep schedule resembling that of an RPG writer). I'm a chat-junkie so if you hit me up on a mutual topic of interest, we can be chat-pals. If you have difficulty finding me on there, let me know via email.

For those who've been eager for the next RPG Writing Workshop, next week I'll be posting June's exercise.
